Short bio
approx. 75 wordsKovishin is a DJ and producer from Mumbai who builds sets out of house, UK garage and dancehall — groove and swing rather than a queue of drops. Mentored in DJing and production by Akhil Talreja, one of India's most-booked DJs, he has played clubs, festivals and college fests across the country and made his international debut headlining Club 16 in Pokhara, Nepal. Bollywood and commercial stay in the bag for the nights that ask for them.
Long bio
approx. 215 wordsKovishin is a Mumbai-based DJ and producer who plays house, UK garage and dancehall — three styles that share a bias toward groove and swing over brute force, and two of which are still rare on an Indian dancefloor.
The pull toward electronic music arrived early and loudly, by way of Steve Angello and the stadium-EDM years, and turned into a question about construction: how one record becomes the next without the room noticing. Rather than stay self-taught, Kovishin trained under Akhil Talreja, one of India's most-booked DJs, in both DJing and production — harmonic mixing, set architecture, and edits that hold up on a club system rather than only in headphones.
That training is audible live. Loops, edits and re-arrangements are played in the moment, so no two sets run the same order. He has performed across India including Bar Bank in Juhu, Mumbai — sharing booths with DJ Ganesh, Flipsyd and tej.music.vodka — alongside Maikada, Arggos, Raasta, Cygnus Fest and college fests nationwide, plus an open-air sunset set in Lonavala released on YouTube. His first international booking took him to Club 16 in Pokhara, Nepal.
Bollywood, commercial and afro house stay in the bag, kept sharp for weddings, brand floors and fests. They are range, not identity.

Logo & colour
The wordmark is set in a custom Bauhaus-derived display face, with the letter O replaced by a record. Keep the record as a solid circle with a visible centre hole; never substitute a plain letter O in a different typeface.
- Set the wordmark in all caps, never sentence case.
- Leave clear space of at least one letter-height on every side.
- On dark backgrounds the wordmark is paper white; the record stays orange-red.
- Do not stretch, outline, add gradients, or place the wordmark over a busy photo without a solid panel behind it.

Typefaces
- Kovishin Display — wordmark and headlines, caps only.
- Kovishin Text — bespoke companion face: labels, buttons, sub-headings.
- DM Sans — body copy, and the fallback for both custom faces.
Download the logo
Twelve lockups, each as a vector SVG and a transparent PNG. The SVGs are real outlines, so they scale to a banner without softening, and the record's centre hole is punched rather than filled with white — it reads correctly on any background.

Design elements
The shape vocabulary the site is built from — square, circle, half, quarter, arch — in the four brand colours. Use them to build banners, stage visuals or social posts that sit alongside the wordmark. Every file is transparent; in the SVGs the colour is a single fill you can change.

Icons & social
The favicon set, the app icons and the social preview cards — the files a site, an app listing or a link preview needs. The tab icon is the record rather than the whole monogram, because at sixteen pixels the K and the record are about seven pixels each and neither survives.
